What is Refresh 56?
56 is a new bridge program designed for 5th and 6th graders based on their unique needs that don’t often fit in Kids or Youth programming.
Refresh 56 is a Sunday morning class specifically designed for our 5th and 6th graders. One thing that the kids in this age group are dealing with is transition. To best come alongside them, support them, and show them the value that they have, we have created a class just for them that brings together Refresh Kids and Refresh Next to best suit where they are developmentally.
Through biblical curriculum, teaching, and mentoring relationships, we hope that this class is a space where these kids feel seen, loved, and known. Our hope is that after being in Refresh 56, they are ready to participate in Refresh Next with excitement and confidence.
When is Refresh 56?
56 is currently only offered at the 9 am service,
in the youth room downstairs
What can my child expect?
56 is held in the Refresh NEXT space downstairs and is structured similarly to how we do our elementary classes.
Kids will attend service for the opening worship, then will be dismissed to their class. They will start with a group game, have teaching, and end with intentional mentoring small group discussion.
The curriculum we use is Lifeway’s Gospel Project.
