At Refresh, we believe the Church is more than a place to attend — it’s a family to belong to. And just like any good home, it takes people who are willing to show up, serve with joy, and help create a space where others can feel safe, seen, and welcomed.
That’s what the Home Team is all about.
What is the Home Team?
The Home Team is made up of Refresh members who serve regularly across the ministries of the church. From the parking lot to the pulpit, from kids’ classrooms to tech booths, from Sunday gatherings to weekday outreach — these team members make ministry possible.
Why “Home Team”?
Because we serve like it’s our house.
This is our church home, and just like in a family, we take ownership — not out of obligation, but out of love. Home Teamers help make Refresh a warm and welcoming place where people encounter the love of Jesus.
Who Can Join?
Home Team is for Refresh “members”.
Serving starts with belonging. That’s why we ask all Home Teamers to first become members — to take ownership of this community before stepping into responsibility.
Once you’re in, we’ll walk with you through a simple, meaningful process:
- Foundational Conversation– a personalized interaction to learn who you are what you’re called to
- Role-Specific Training – tailored prep for your area of service
How Do I Know Where to Serve?
We help you discover how God wired you — and where that design meets a need.
You’re not just filling a spot. You’re using your gifts, personality, and passions to bless others and build the church. Whether you're outgoing or behind-the-scenes, creative or structured, there's a place for you on the Home Team.
Is It Just on Sundays?
Not at all.
While many serve during our Sunday worship gatherings, Home Team opportunities extend throughout the week — including group leadership, teaching, neighborhood outreach, event support, global mission missionary support and so much more.
