From the very beginning, God's heart has been for every people, every language, and every nation to know Him.
At Refresh, we believe making disciples doesn't stop at our neighborhoods—it extends to the ends of the earth. Our desire is to partner with healthy church planting movements among unreached peoples, equipping local leaders and sending faithful disciples wherever God calls.
Our Vision
Jesus' command to "make disciples of all nations" is more than a destination—it's an invitation.
Rather than building our own international ministry, we seek to partner with trusted churches, missionaries, and organizations already faithfully serving around the world. Our goal is to encourage, strengthen, and participate in what God is already doing among unreached people groups.
As our church grows in this calling, we hope to become a sending church—raising up, supporting, and commissioning missionaries from within our own church family. The ministry is intentionally developing through missionary care, partnerships, vision trips, and future sending efforts.
Current Partnerships
Japan
Japan is one of our primary international ministry partnerships.
Following an exploratory vision trip, we are preparing to send our first Refresh short-term team while also supporting the Abbott family as they continue preparing with their sending agency to serve as long-term missionaries in Tokyo.
We are praying that God would use this partnership to strengthen local churches and establish a long-term sending relationship.
West Africa
Our partnership in West Africa is focused on strengthening local churches by equipping pastors and supporting evangelism among villages where access to the gospel remains limited.
Following an initial vision trip, we are exploring how Refresh can continue partnering with trusted local leaders for long-term ministry.

Vision trips and short-term mission trips provide opportunities to experience God's work firsthand while serving alongside trusted ministry partners.

Our long-term desire is to identify, develop, and send missionaries from Refresh Community Church, providing the care, discipleship, and support needed for faithful long-term ministry.
Looking Ahead
We believe God is inviting Refresh into a deeper participation in His global mission.
Today, that means learning, praying, serving, and building partnerships.
Tomorrow, we hope it also means joyfully sending members of our own church family to proclaim Christ among the nations.
